Polina Rajko (15.05.1928-15.01.2004) lived in the little town Tsuriupinsk, Ukraine. Her husband and daughter died early. Her alcoholic son beat her and sold things from her house to get money for alcohol. When he was impisoned in 1997, Polina Rajko started to paint the walls of her house. She was 69. Until her death in 2004 she spent almost all of her pension on enamel paint.
All 9 rooms, external walls of the house and fence are painted.
