Patrick Blanc, a French botanist who made his name with vertical gardens and plant walls, is an unusual mix of scientist and artist. A few examples of his work are the green walls of the Quai Branly Museum in Paris or the Athenaeum Hotel in London.
Not surprising that his home is just as much of a beautiful jungle as his other creations.

Beautiful, and his web page is fantastic - thank you!
ReplyDeleteFantastic! It reminded me at first of the way the gardens are integrated with the buildings near the Barbican centre in London. But he goes as far as getting the plants into his living space.
