Ihwa Mural Village (Seoul/ South Korea)

Over sixty murals fill the walls of the charming village, painted as part of the "ART in the City 2006" campaign by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to rejuvenate the image of these smaller, older neighborhoods of Seoul and give them an artistic and cultural makeover. Now it has become a bit of a tourist destination and some of the houses have been converted into restaurants and cute little cafes because of it.
The Mural Village is located in Ihwa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul-si.

Giant Vintage Camera Café (Yangpyeong/ South Korea)

This 2 storey Rolleiflex is actually a coffee shop called "Dreaming Camera" in Yangpyeong County, east of Seoul. It was the dream of a former air-force helicopter pilot to create the Giant Camera Coffee Shop and it finally came true when he built it right next door to the bungalow he shared with his wife & daughter.

Pottery Village B & B (Yeongheung Island/ South Korea)

Ever wanted to live in a vase? These giant painted Vases are a Bed & Breakfast hotel on the South Korean island of Yeongheung Island. The island itself has nice sandy beaches and good fishing spots.

1000 Doors (Seoul/ South Korea)

"Doors" was an enormous 10-story public art installation made from 1,000 reused doors by South Korean artist Choi Jeong-Hwa. It was installed in Seoul in 2009.

Toilet-Shaped House (Suweon/ South Korea)

"The unique Toilet-Shaped House was built to commemorate the establishment of the World Toilet Association and its campaign for better sanitation worldwide. Sim Jae-Duck, also known as “Mayor Toilet” resides in the concrete and glass building and continues his efforts to improve the image of toilets among people. The house includes a “model toilet” positioned in the middle of the building that produces a mist to make the visitors feel more relaxed."

Jeju Loveland (Jeju Island/ South Korea)

Jeju Loveland is an outdoor sculpture park which opened in 2004 on Jeju Island in South Korea. The park is focused on a theme of sex, running sex education films, and featuring 140 sculptures representing humans in various sexual positions.
